Founded by the Romans, the city of Cologne (Köln) is one of the oldest in Germany.
It is an important cultural center that unites 13 Romanic churches, being the main one, the famous Cathedral of Cologne.
The city hall (Rathaus) of Cologne occupies the same building since 1330, thanks to continuous reformations. In front of the City hall there is a glass pyramid that protects the thermal Judaic ruins of the 12th Century.
