The renowned city for its wine industry, Heilbronn situated in North Baden Wurttemberg, Germany on the Neckar River. The major economic center of the region with its 0.12 million inhabitants, it is the sixth biggest of the state, and the canal port on the Neckar is one of the largest among the ten large interior ports of the Germany. The old city with findings estimates its origin dating back around 30,000 BC (Old Stone Age). The city is famous for its wine and salt mine trade.
