Located in the south-west of Bavaria, Germany, with the population of 61,000, this city also called “Allgau”. It is placed on the lller River, about 70 miles away from Munich.

This astonishing archaeological park is across the River lller, from the old town of Kempten. This park is large and features three sections of history. The first is a Gallo Roman Temole, with incomplete renovation; the next is the small Thermae, which is the part of Roman governor’s Palace. The third section is part of the innovative Forum and Market Basilica from the Roman Town, and known as “Cambodunum”.
Cambodunum is a very important spot in the daily life of the founder of the old Kempten, the Romans. This bath was a central meeting point, and inhabitant with an estimated of 3000 people. By visiting the bath, you will get an insight of the bath culture and advanced architect of the Romans.
The corn warehouse built around 1700, with baroque façade and three-storey Volute gable serves today as a festival hall. An additional attraction is the bowed fountain to the frontage of the building.
