In southern part of the Ruhr area and birthplace of traditional mining in Ruhr ‘Witten’ is situated in the North Rhine Westphalia (NRW), Germany. It is
located on the Ruhr River, an important town in the region with its population more than 100,000 inhabitants. The ‘Nachtigall Colliery’ a magnificent 130 meter long gallery reveals the tremendous industrial heritage, held in fantastic museum and historical railways.
