If you were busy hiking in the Black Forest, Baden-Baden would be the perfect next stop to rest and rejuvenate. The springs of Baden-Baden were known to the Romans as well for their healing properties. One can bathe in its pure thermal water which is full of minerals that do wonders for the body. It is particularly effective for ailments like arthritis, nervous system disorders, and gynecological disorders amongst some others.
Besides the bath-house which is its major attraction, Baden-Baden also offers many other attractions like the Baden-Baden Casino. The casino had opened its doors in early nineteenth century and its décor is reminiscent of that time and age. The casino makes one feel like they have walked into the sets of a James Bond movie. It is located within the palatial Kurhaus. 
The architecture of Kurhaus itself is very regal and it is a tourist attraction by itself. It is rumored that the casino had inspired Dostoevsky to pen The Gambler. The casino has a dress code, men must wear jacket and tie while the code is relaxed for women, one cannot walk in extremely casual clothing. If you do not wish to gamble, you can still come to the Casino to take a guided tour of the interiors.
Baden-Baden is the perfect place for culture lovers as well. One can visit the Baden-Baden theatre which is designed in the neo-baroque style. One can also visit the Festspielhaus which is one of Europe’s biggest concert halls and is famous for its acoustics. 
A holiday in Baden-Baden, Germany would be incomplete for an art lover without visiting Museum Frieder Burda. This art museum houses works of many great painters both modern as well as contemporary like Picasso and Warhol. The Statdtmusum is south of Museum Frieder Burda and it contains some amazing exhibits like belle époque paintings, roulette wheels as well as Roman figurines.
Baden-Baden has some amazing restaurants as well like the Rizzi which is a great place for Italian cuisine. If you want French food in a romantic ambiance, the La Provence is the place to go. Leo’s on the other hand has played host to Bill Clinton and many other dignitaries. This renowned bistro cum wine bar is known for its creative salads, pastas and cocktails. One can have a great time in Baden-Baden visiting attractions, relaxing and enjoying great food.
