Take a drive through Munich and see the historical buildings that give it its worldly flavor. Cool your Football Fever at the Allianz Arena, the venue for the World Soccer Championship 2006.

Munich SoccerThis tour has a pleasant balance of both soccer and sightseeing. For those who want a more contemporary experience than the usual history based tours, this tour is bang on.

You’ll visit the most modern soccer stadium in Europe, the Allianz Arena. Completed in 2005, it was the venue for the World Soccer Championship 2006. Its rubber dingy-like appearance is somewhat amusing, belying the serious approach that most soccer fiends take to the sport. You’ll also visit the FC Bayern Grounds.

Munich Sightseeing TourFrom the comfort of a climate controlled vehicle, you’ll be taken for a drive through Munich. You will pass by some of the highlights of the city such as the National Theatre, New City Hall, Old City Hall and the Cathedral.

These buildings are a cherished part of Munich’s medieval history. They add a rich flavor to the city. Keep an eye out for the Glockenspiel in the New Town Hall. These bells chime daily and draw crowds in the hundreds.

Munich truly is a city where you can let your imagination run loose as you wander through the past.

There is no hotel pick-up. Your Munich Soccer and Sightseeing tour starts at the front of the “Karstadt” department store, across from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof, Bahnhofplatz). You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach. A bilingual (English and German) guide will accompany you on this tour.

Please notice that on match days the visit to the Allianz Arena is not possible. As an alternative you’ll visit the VIP area of the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park.

Remember to bring your camera, so this Football adventure can be registered and always cherished.
