Museum Island
The Museum Island on the River Spree in Berlin is one of the most important museum complexes in the worldMuseum Island Berlin. It is considered a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and it integrates various museums like the Pergamon Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, the Bodemuseum, the Altes Museum and the Neues Museum. The ticket for all museums costs 12 Euros.

The Sony Center
The Sony CenterThe Sony Center in Berlin is since 2000 the European headquarters of the giant Nippon company. It is the most ambitious building in Berlin with a very bold architecture. The dome structure was designed by Helmut Jahn. Thousands of visitors are marveled daily by its cinemas and restaurants. The Sony Center is located on the Potsdamer Platz.

Berlin Zoo
Berlin zooThe Berlin Zoo is one of the oldest in the world, it is the house of about 13,000 animals of more than 1400 species. The Zoologischer Garten is located in the northwestern district of Tiegarten. You can see the enclosure of the Apes, the outdoor enclosure of the Lions, the Precinct of the giraffes but the big star of this zoo is the giant panda named, Bao Bao. The Bao Bao is the delight of visitors and was offered by China to Germany in 1980. Bao Bao now has a partner, Yan Yan which was loaned by China in an attempt to reproduce.

Pergamum Museum
Pergamum Museum BerlinIt is one of the most amazing museums in the city. Stands on the edge of the Island of Museums in the central district of Mitte. It is the most famous museum of Berlin and it opens everyday from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is 8 Euros and there are discounts available. The museum tour includes an audio guide in Spanish. It is a U-shaped building with three different parts. The first is about the ancient world. It is one of the most important collections in the world. The Pergamum Altar gives its name to the museum. It is built in real size and dates of 180 BC. Then there is the museum of the Middle East, which shows you 4000 years of art, from Babylon, Syria and other places of the Middle East. And afterwards you end up with the Islamic museum, with a large collection of tapestries, and the room of the caliphate of Damascus, which has a wide variety of porcelain and interior decorations. It is definitely worth it if you like art in general, although some people prefer to spend the day out exploring the city’s neighborhoods.
